Annette Richardson - Board of Advisors

Annette Richardson is a consultant to global corporate clients, NGOs and non-profit organizations focusing on philanthropic strategy and implementation. Ms. Richardson’s experience includes strategy consulting, project management, marketing, operations management and major event production.

Ms. Richardson advises clients on public/private partnerships, celebrities/personalities recruiting, educational and public service initiatives. Ms. Richardson has launched several global humanitarian campaigns among them the United Nations Millennium Campaign’s Stand UP Against Poverty (2006), the World Health Organization’s “Deliver Now for Women and Children” (2007) and the UNDWC’s “Women for Peace” project (2008).

Currently a special advisor to the Katalyst Group, some of her past clients include the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Foundation, Umbrage Publishers, NETAID, UNICEF, the United Nations Fund for International Partnerships (UNFIP), the United Nations Delegations Women’s Club (UNDWC), Generations and History,  DRUM, the New Globe Theater, the American Friends of the Phelophepa Train, The American Friends of the Walter Sisulu Pediatric Cardiac Center for Africa, the Praemium Imperiale, the Universal Education Foundation, Broadway Asia, Madvision, NARSAD: The Mental Health Research Association, just to name a few.

Prior to launching her consulting venture in 2005, Ms. Richardson was Director of International Relations for the New York City 2012 Olympic Bid Committee responsible for African Affairs and the United Nations. She also served as Chief of Staff to the former chairman and CEO of Vivendi Universal, then the second largest global media company after AOL-Time Warner.

Ms. Richardson began her professional career as an interpreter in U.S. embassies in Europe and Africa working with U.S. corporations on business development projects. She holds a B.A in American Civilization from the University Paris VII. A French native, she now resides in New York City with her daughter.
