Kenneth J. Grosso - Chief Executive Officer

In 2002, after nearly ten years of developing a very successful business career, Kenneth decided to team up with his close friend Darren Port and build a business around his passion of helping others and thus Powered by Professionals was born. 

Kenneth currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the company and is charged with leading the overall marketing and vision strategy of the company as well as the volunteer acquisition and retention for clients. Under his leadership, Powered by Professionals has started eleven charitable organizations, placed over 1,500 volunteers and has raised donations of nearly $15 million for its clients in its six short years of existence. 

Kenneth has been raising money for charities for over 18 years and is considered a visionary and leader within the philanthropic sector.  He is often called upon by various media outlets for his foresight and comments and has served on numerous advisory boards and committees of for-profit and non-profit organizations. He consults and coaches numerous business owners and speaks around the world on topics such as entrepreneurship, networking, goal setting and master-mind groups.

Prior to Powered by Professionals, Kenneth worked at KPMG as an assurance manager and consultant in the Information, Communications and Entertainment practice. He was responsible for managing the engagement teams of Fortune 500 clients such as Reader's Digest Association, NBC (GE), and Pepsi Cola International (PepsiCo), as well as over a dozen internet companies.

In August, 1997, Kenneth joined a start-up internet company named Promotions.com, (formerly know as Netstakes) as its fifth employee in the capacity of head of sales. In his first three years he built, trained and managed a sales force of over seventy people in four cities across the United States and increased revenue from $40 thousand to $27 million. He was also instrumental in the company's successful IPO in September, 1999, which raised over $50 million.
