Leigh Siatka – Communications Manager

After a semester of interning at Powered by Professionals, Leigh accepted a full time position with the company in June, 2008 as the Communications Manager. She is responsible for all outgoing and incoming communications with clients and donors. 

Leigh graduated cum laude from Manhattan College in May, 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Journalism. She lived abroad in Paris, France for eight months in 2007, studying French at the Sorbonne and International NGO’s at the American University of Paris. During this time, she traveled extensively through Europe and Northern Africa which furthered her passion for studying other cultures and learning about their need for philanthropy.

Leigh’s volunteer experience includes various educational, environmental and women’s programs in the New York City and Washington, DC areas. Her interests include running, yoga, travel and spending time with her family.
