Alison Zwecker

Alison was hired by Powered by Professionals as their Manager of Data Solutions in August 2010. Her responsibilities range from reporting and gift management to website design and database implementation for all of PBP’s non-profit clients. In addition, Alison manages the registration process and check-in for each of our gala events. Since beginning at PBP, she has overseen more than $5 million of annual income for our clients, improved our databases to increase efficacy and build more robust systems for our growing events, and revamped the company’s operations to better serve client needs.

Prior to her current position, Alison served as the Assistant Director of Major Gifts and Campaigns at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and later as the Assistant Director, Stewardship at Columbia Business School. She began her work in higher education and development at the University of Rochester, her alma mater, after graduating cum laude with a degree in English. Alison was offered a position in prospect research and prospect management, and subsequently was brought onto the project team for the University’s implementation of their new fundraising database, serving as the prospect management lead in system testing and analysis, and later designing trainings and managing end-user support for their more than 250 staff members. Outside of her work in non-profit management and fundraising, Alison is a regular performer in opera companies around New York City.
