Emily Neufeld

Emily Neufeld began working with Powered by Professionals as an intern in January 2010. In the summer of 2010, she was hired full time at PBP as the Events and Development Coordinator. Emily graduated from James Madison University in 2008 with a B.A. in English and American Studies. Prior to working with PBP, Emily sat on the Executive Board of Pi Sigma Epsilon, a co-ed Marketing and Business Fraternity where she was the Executive Vice President of Finance and Events.

Since joining the PBP team, she has worked on over 25 events for all of the clients on the PBP roster. Some highlights include R Baby Foundation’s 1^st Annual Tennis Tournament: Serving to Save Babies’ Lives; travelling to Miami to be PBP’s representative and on-site event staff at Voices Against Brain Cancer’s (VABC) inaugural Sounding Off For A Cure in Miami; and being a key member of the PBP staff to plan and carry out VABC’s inaugural Join the Voices! Against Brain Cancer Run/Walk in Central Park, which was attended by over 10,000 people and raised over $500,000. Emily loves being able to work closely with families and individuals who have been affected by these causes, and is thankful and feels lucky that PBP gives her the opportunity to give back in such a way.
