MRF in 2011

The Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF) has outsourced their annual New York Fundraising Gala to PBP for the past six years. In 2011, the working relationship between PBP and MRF grew, as the MRF sought to fulfill their goal of expanding their national presence. PBP was hired to manage the MRF’s San Francisco gala and they immediately implemented their fundraising advantage, identifying and working with honorees and award recipients. The MRF’s 3^rd Annual Fundraising Gala was held on May 4^th at the Bently Reserve. The number of attendees doubled and the event fundraising totals experienced a 167% increase, making the final amount raised $267,000. Guests enjoyed delicious food & drink from restaurant and spirit sponsors, entertainment, a silent auction and a program that honored a melanoma doctor, a couple with a vision to make change in the melanoma world and 5 courageous individuals who bravely battled melanoma.

Just a few months later, on October 6^th, the MRF held their 10^th Anniversary Fundraising Gala in New York at the Edison Ballroom. Wings of Hope raised nearly $700,000 and was the MRF’s most successful fundraising event yet! Looking ahead to 2012 – PBP and the MRF are eager to continue growing the galas in San Francisco and New York and are pleased to announce the addition of a new fundraising gala, which will be held in Denver!
